|Privacy Statement||| Print ||
Wanda Wanders is very concerned about the privacy of her visitors. Most websites rely on external statistic services. Collecting data about your surfing behaviour is core business and main source of income for the companies delivering these services. We do not want privacy issues to be non-transparent. Therefore wandawanders.com is never using external parties to collect data from you. We keep track of a few things ourselves to analyse your visits and to prevent misuse of this site. Our collected data is solely used for internal monitoring and is never sold or given to a third party.
What data do we collect?
When you are surfing wandawanders.com we keep track of your host-name, os and browser use, the pages you visit and the search-terms that brought you here from a search engine. This data is linked to your host-name during a month. Every month we summarise the collected data and this means your personal surfing behaviour is no longer linked to your host-name/ip.
The collected information is mainly used for analysing searches that lead to our site, have an insight on popularity of different items and to check systems and browsers used. Also we try to keep misuse of bandwidth to a minimum using the collected data.
When you use the postcards on wandawanders.com we also keep track of your messages sent through this system. Since anyone using the postcards can pretend to be someone else, we want to have a lead when the cards are used for harassment or spamming. If you are unfortunate to have received an insulting postcard from our system, feel free to contact us. After six months the messages get deleted from the database automatically.
Enjoy your visit to our site!
